It's hard to believe that a year has passed since the shock of the news of Gary Speed's death.
It's no less of a shame though. Talk of the Tyne always remembers what he achieved here as both a man and a player.
Our original articles last year showed how much he meant to the fans here and we'll all be remembering him in our own way with our own memorial at some point today.
