T.o.T.T Focus On: Arsenal

The start of a new feature in which we focus on certain aspects of players, forthcoming fixtures and other angles of Newcastle United.

Next up in our busy schedule, it's the trip to London, North London to be precise where we will be the guests of Arsenal in the Premier League.

Arsenal are a team under scrutiny at present with their manager Arsene Wenger, a winner of something like eight major trophies getting dogs abuse.

A manager who has managed over 1000 games and has a win percentage of just shy of 60% and has also been manager of the year three times proving that no-one is immune to pressure from fans and we will look to capitalise.

The current form of Arsenal is not on a par with us but they're not doing as bad as the abuse warrants with them just above us in the table on the same points and them just qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League after a thumping 4-1 win in Turkey.

They have an injury list just as long as ours with the likes of Jack Wilshire, Mezut Ozil, Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta missing. They also have concerns at the back but unlike us, their goalkeeping department seems sound.

Their recent league form is so, so with 9 points out of the last 18 available, they are by no means rampant but not static either with their home form, not too bad.

Out of the seven home games they've faced so far, they have won 4, drawn 2 and lost the 1 game to Man Utd. Scoring 12 and conceding 8 in that period.

With a clutch of stars still available and needing a reaction from some wounded players, this could be a hell of a banana skin for us. Especially with our inexperienced reserve keeper in nets.
