Last Gasp Winner!
White Hart Lane
Newcastle's Premier League season continued with a win against Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
If he had two-matches to save his job then it's a case of 'job done' for Steve McClaren (for now anyway) as the win against Liverpool seven-days before was followed up with a two-one comeback win in injury-time at Spurs on Sunday.
Only Rob Elliot, who had been in fine form to keep out Erik Lamela on a couple of occasions kept NUFC level before Eric Dier was able to head home before half time.
The 'keeper also made second half saves, which became all the more important when Aleksandar Mitrovic came off the bench to tap home the equaliser within minutes. Another player to come off the bench, Ayoze Perez, got in behind the Spurs defence to beat Hugo Lloris from a tight angle in the third minute of injury-time for the NUFC winner.
It also meant back-to-back league wins for the first time in over a year!
These were the other results.

Looking at these results (despite some interesting ones) the stand out one (so far, and putting aside the NUFC win) has to be the win for Bournemouth?
At Dean Court on Saturday Bournemouth secured that two-one win over Man United meaning the Cherries followed up the win at Chelsea (on the Monday) with a win against United in under a week!
Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer the most?
