'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Newcastle United vs. West Ham United

St James' Park

11th November 2012

3pm

It's Hammer Time

it's West Ham at home today and the last time we played them, they got hammered.
Also getting a 'hammering' of abuse will be former manager Sam Alladyce, and maybe Andy Carroll. Any abuse aimed at Kevin Nolan will be banter if nothing else.
Hopefully we don't get too personal towards AC because it's been and gone now.

Our major concern today is the loss of our captain to suspension but i feel we have far too much for West Ham and as long as we don't get tempted to resort to their long ball game then patience could be the key today.

Vital Quotes:

Pardew on AC - "He`s a Geordie and I think he misses the city. This is his home and at some point I hope he does come back here"

Big Sam on his NUFC sacking - "My wife said I should (retire), she said - 'For God`s sake, you`re better off out of it, is it worth it?"

Newcastle United Team News:

Missing through suspension are our captain, Coloccini and Tiote.
Apart from the long term injured, we have Danny Simpson nursing a shoulder problem and he's doubtful.

My Predicted XI

Krul
Anita, Williamson, S.Taylor, Santon
Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Jonas, Sa Ameobi
Cisse, Ba

Player to watch: Demba Ba

Today im going for Demba Ba. Facing his old club should add a bit more to his usual game.

West Ham United Team News:

Major injury doubts over their defence plus they are missing the dangerous Vaz Te, Jack Collison and Diarra.

Player to watch: Andy Carroll

A choice of two but it's odds on that AC will score today.

Match Facts & Stats

It's nine games unbeaten against these at home and we've only lost Eight ever here.

Match Prediction:

Im plumping for a sneaky 2-1 NUFC win courtesy of Demba Ba and a late Sammy Ameobi strike

Next Fixtures:

Home to Swansea next Saturday at 3pm for a change.
