Can't see this lot garnering more than 10 points out of the remaining games. Puts us on 34. We went down last time with 37 and there's a lot of teams on similar points this year. Only West Brom are a little adrift. Just hope Staveley comes back in and gets us for a song.

I hope we are relegated, but fear we may survive by the skin of our teeth.

There is only one thing that matters for the club now - It must get rid of Ashley. Year after year people have witnessed this once great club dwindle. I cannot for the life of me see what hope there is for it and I am flabbergasted that people are still willing to pay money to be a ringside participant in its decay. If relegation and staying down for a few years are the only way to get rid of this parasite, so be it.

I have no intention to trivialise some people's battles against an horrendous disease, but it as if the club has a cancer; an odious, repulsive lump, sucking the life and hope out of it. The cure is a form of chemotherapy, using deadly chemicals which all but kill the patient but manage to destroy the hideous lump first. Once gone, the rehabilitation can begin where life and hope can be regained.

Put simply, as long as the club is paying him, he will remain. Once it starts to lose him money, then he'll leave. And no doubt, he'll leave it in a hell of a mess but there is no option.

if you love the club, then until he is gone, you must not, under any circumstances, put a penny in.

Starve him out.

Right. Enough metaphors. I'll get me coat.

Cannot disagree with any of that HB, only problem is 52000 continue to get a decent mobile signal, and can play candy crush, it wont change.....

Aye. It's a dreadful state of affairs.

Sad state of affairs when i dont give a fuck anymore never thought i woukd feel like this but Ashley has drained me of my love for NUFC I will be back if he ever fucks off hut by the looks if it i will have a long wait. I am doing the only thing that i can do by not giving any of my money but i know it is merely symbolic.

In the games against West Ham, Brighton,Stoke,Huddersfield and Swansea we looked better than them.

That gives me hope because we were gash so i'm relying on the aforementioned teams to get us out of trouble.

I don't want us relegated although I understand the argument of those that do.

Looks a difficult challenge looking at the fixtures. We will need to win our home games and given our home form, not exactly a fortress is it, the task may be beyond us.
Needs a takeover and Ashley and his flow Charnley to disappear for good, even then it might take time to recover depending on who sits in The Managers Chair.

We have had 2 defeats in the previous league 7 games which were both against Man City. I'm clutching at straws but if Slimani can improve the dismal scoring record by our forwards then maybe, just maybe we can keep our head above the relegation teams. Regarding forwards we tried to sign (on loan of course) curiosity made me read the Man City v WBA match thread on their forum. Sturridge only got as a sub the last 12 mins but he got a mention:
' Sturridge one on one pathetic miss'

It’s all about the goals Mc and all about Slimani you’re right, most of us said in the summer that a lack of a striker would cost us points and it has. The minute Slimani misses a sitter, balloonsl a header over the bar like Joselu/Gayle/Mitrovic then we’re down. Anything but clinical and we’re finished.

Only goal difference now separates us and 19th placed Huddersfield. Palace is now a huge, potentially season defining game.
