Absolutely. But it doesn't go away. DLG's last paragraph puts it beyond the club. this creature is insulting the region and its people because, in the North East, the club reflects the region. It's the Far Corner for Pete's sake! You go into a pub in Wooler and there's memorabilia on the wall. It represents a huge geographical area, that club, and that heinous scumbag is rubbishing averybody.

He deserves far worse, but your only legal recourse is to starve him out. Stop going and stop spending.

Spot on HB.

Stop worshipping his idol (rafa) would also help.

Your wasting your time because the majority of match goers now just don't have the passion or love for the club that we have (perhpas had). We're certainly not unique and you can go to any PL ground nowadays and see the same apathy from the home supporters that is now prevalent at SJP.

Listening to the podcast of the talk-in at the Irish Tyneside Centre in Newcastle it would appear that everybody is against Ashley - the supporters, media, NUST, local council as well as the likes of Ashley Out but we can't seem to exert any pressure on him. Apparently NUST have some plans to picket the Sports Direct shop in Northumberland Street but I'm unsure about what form the protest will take.

For me, we've got to make it personal now and take the fight to him. Blockade Sports Direct at Shirebrook to stop any lorries getting in or out and protest outside his home and upset his personal life. In Italy he would be waking up with a fucking horses head lying next to him.

Your right Vin, a couple of broken down lorries at his shirebrook HQ, preventing any further deliveries, would help.

We know if he is upset enough he cries in his pram, maybe he will get the message, still needs somebody to line up behind to make it happen.

Shearer?????

As much as I'd enjoy horrible things happening to him and his business, you've got to keep it legal. Not because of some namby-pamby nonsense, but you can't allow him the moral high ground because his mates at Sky and The Fan loathing Sun would jump on us from a great height. We don't need supporter- damaging anti-publicity. Remember the stupid pillock punching the police horse? Well, there you go.

Shearer probably thinks the same, given he was roundly insulted by The Twat, but I think as an Establishment figure, he has too much to lose. Well known Geordies tend to be of the light entertainment type - no problems, like, but you're not going to get 52,000 taking part in a mass walkout behind the likes of Charlotte Moffat, bless her.

You need a person of substance; a public figure with genuine credibility and political clout.

Just had a horrible thought: Tony Blair decides it'd be a viable way of detoxifying himself.

Now I'm imagining a double lynching dangling from Level 7...

You could have Shearer offering the twats in the ground a grand each to stay away for a season and they’d still find an excuse to go.

The Twat's trump card, that. Always will be until they wise up.

You pay - he's gonna stay.

Maybe a false report, saying Madman Ashley has weapons of mass destruction, Blair would be on it like a shot, invading Shirebrook nee problem....

It certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed that those who fill Ashley’s pockets are reluctant, in fact have been non-existent, when it comes to providing a solution.

Every single fan in the ground this weekend has a personal agenda and it isn’t the one that is best for the club we used to know.

Always hoping someone else will do something first. Even then, they simply don’t care enough. It’s more about bragging rights. Although what they have to brag about is anyone’s guess.

Agree OM, those inside the ground think it will fix itself, and they will be beneficiaries.

That's why they say nought, and put up with being abused by Ashley and Charnley, in the blind expectation it will change.

Only way the region will get change, is to get his back up sufficiently he sells.

The hard part is "how", for all the rhetoric by John Gibson recently, the local rag is reluctant, as they get the club link broken, nobody of note will front it, for people to gather behind, its all down to apathy linked to supporting the club. That is the benchmark by which Ashley will be judged, the apathy left behind, a generation of fans lost, a generation of fans refusing to go.

As as far as support the team, not the regime, get your head out of your arse. He holds all the aces at the moment, the fans have the power, to throw a spanner in the works, big style, but apathy again, is stopping it, something the current regime play on.

Seems the banners at the last home game struck a nerve with Sausage fingers as today's scheduled display has been knocked on the head.

Dont know why the battle hasn't been taken to his doorstep rather than wors.

That’s because all those flags detract from his Sports Direct signs, he was waiting for any excuse to sling them out...

I bet there’s not so much as a whimper about it today. The twats will just be happy to see some half decent players on the pitch. Another jolly day out for those that really just don’t care enough.

In the bottom 3 as it stands with Huddersfield winning. What a great team the regime has given them to support.
The fans in the ground have more anger towards those that refuse to line Ashleys pockets than the fat cunt himself.
He must piss himself laughing everyday.

Can't see us getting out of the bottom three now either. Wonder if 52,000 support the team not the regime wankers will turn up when we end up in a similar position to Sunderland

I wonder if those making the banners ( which don't get me wrong is better than doing nothing* ) still buy pints/food etc in the ground. There's an irony in there somewhere.

*Not as good as not going.
