Random quote: Platinii - I would prefer a coffee table at left back instead of Perch. I doubt even a coffee table could lose the ball twice in one move.

Just back for xmas from France and was working in a small village outside Bordeaux. Aanyway after a few days i wandered into the local watering hole now i dont speak a word of french and get by with a lot of pointing and shouting so i was sitting enjoying my own company and this bloke came over and was pointing at me i couldnt make out what he was saying then i heard the words Kevin Keegan and i realised he was pointing at my Newcastle bobble hat. Now if a middle aged bloke in a small village in France can recognise the NUFC crest and associate in with Keegan imagine the potential if we had someone prepared to invest in the club. The only words i understood were Keegan and magnifique. So come on the arabs buy the club and invest and let a whole new generation fall in love with NUFC

I've never understood managers like fat sam as an example, or even a percentage of our own support who don't get how big we could be.

It's all about the lowering of expectation and how Ashley has achieved that. The linking of David Luiz is a prime example in that it's dismissed straight away by the majority.

It’s been ‘could’ all my life though, it’s the hope that kills you. Mick are you sure it wasn’t the fact that you’ve a curly perm and you were drinking with Terry Mac that made him point and shout?

The fat cunt has turned us into a zombie club where the only ambition is to stay in the PL

Well they admitted they were liars and Keegan summed them up accurately.
They still have the Gall to come out with even more lies when it is perfectly clear they see it as a money making machine and do not have a clue about football or the fans

On holiday in Menorca late eighties Mick and my lads had the green & yellow striped away tops on. A German lad who was at the same hotel saw the badge on the shirt and said 'Kevin Keegan', 'Mighty Mouse'. Like you say, it makes you wonder.

A one city club should be big if they are run properly by someone with ambition and the money.
