Yes CTM, it is legal. Each of his companies has a separate legal identity.

Trying to be concise, the thing with a limited company is that liabilities are limited to what has been put into the business, thus reducing risk. The whole principle provides incentive to invest. If one of his business goes bust and is worth nothing, the others can carry on.

Providing everything is transparent, then it is legal for him, just as we can swap our funds between current and deposit account or between building societies and banks. Effectively, he has loaned the club money from MAsh/MASH, like his savings account, and repaid some of the loan from himself, effectively putting it into his current account from savings account.

It will affect where tax is paid, in the same way that some coffee houses and internet services fix prices so that they make profit in a low tax economy and make losses in high tax economies.

and this pretty much explains why he wont sell the club unless he makes a massive profit.

He's running the club now with a certain percentage diverted and with him putting nowt more in, so there's no panic to sell. If this was exposed by his mates on Sky or the other media outlets then he wouldn't last much longer but it will never make the bigger domain.

Flanagan from Liverpool may be avail soon. Regardless of what had recently been going on in his private life he was a decent defender. It's horses for courses we are skint and he is potentially cheap if avail . Media say he has no future at Liverpool

After Rafa interview this is what I think will happen.
Loans in none.
Transfers none.
What we have now is what we will see the season out with.End result will be relegation.

Who would want to join a club that is heading towards relegation, is not investing in transfers and has a disinterested owner. Nobody of any quality.
It's all a lot of bullshit from the Owner down.

Glad Lennon isn't coming. But now Rafa seems to be toeing the party line "money is available and the club working on signings". Or words to that effect. If we end up with "just couldn't get them over the line" the situation will be much clearer. These next 10 days will tell us a lot surely.

Everything to do with this club is pedestrian. Slow slow- slow slow.
Even the Beardsley saga has not been sorted yet.
They are in a sleep walk.

January 22nd and still no signings but they're working very hard apparently! Looks like they're having trouble getting them over the line.

Hopefully today will bring some good news, like Ashcunts helicopter falling from the sky with one fatality - HIM!

The PR rumour mill has been cranked up today.

We've talk of a record bid for an anonymous striker.

Kenedy is supposedly on for later in the week.

There's also more mention of Shelvey going to West Ham with Andre Schurrle being linked on loan on £150k a week.

There's also a £16m Senegalese midfielder linked whose name slips me but out of this lot I would cross off all but the Shelvey move and Kenedy coming in.

No need.

We have a few strikers who have been anonymous this season.

Aside from the diverted income that should see us loaded, there's supposedly £30m or so there to spend.

Add to that a figure of £20m income from Shelvey, £15m or so from Mitrovic, £10m - £12m from Gayle, £10m from Mbemba and a couple of million for Colback. £80m+ can get you the three decent players wanted.

Wages wont be an issue due to the savings made.

Without knowing the intimate detail of the cash flow, £20-30m cash in the kitty sounds about right, depending on the Sissoko instalments. Not that Ashley does, spending power can be increased by buying in instalments too.

Looking at the finances for someone like Brighton (net spend this season £56m), they have been anticipating the end of season payouts. At the moment, we are looking at a huge cash surplus and a profit which Ashley can be taxed on.

It makes sense to spend more.

Not sure how that works out if he pays himself back for the debt attached. Surely he could pay the excess chunk off what he thinks he's owed and clear his debt ahead of him selling in the Summer?

I don't think there would be enough at the end of the season to clear it but depending on what happens this window and where we finish in the league, he could be able to cut it in half.

Apparently Kenedy is on his way up now for a medical. If true Penfold has 9 days to complete the loan.Who knows if thats enough time for him.

It will take Charnley 9 days to write Kenedy's name. It will take him to the August deadline to get his head round Robert Kenedy Nunes Nascimento. No way will he be able to dot one "i" and cross two "t"s.

Kenedy is here now and might get part of his medical done tonight. Overall this is a strange loan unless he's going to be used as a winger.

He was sent home from China for posting two videos on his social media which offended the population. Ashley and co do this sort of thing all the time.

I'd be happy with Kenedy- offers more than atsu or Ritchie as an attacking threat at least. If Rafa could get him tracking back he could be exactly what we need. Looks a real talent from what I've seen.

With this deal expected to be done tomorrow, that takes us up to Wednesday and only a week left in the window.

Thursday will be all about the back story of Kenedy and Friday the day of the next press conference before the weekend sees the cup dominate.

Going to be easy for the club to get beaten by the line.

Good signing if it happens,he will make a significant difference on our left.
If tubby digs deep in his dirty pockets & releases around 40 million + for a decent striker & a number 10 we might have a chance of avoiding the drop.
Swansea's result bit of a sickener.
It's all down to tubby,we all know how this is going to pan out.

If the rags are to be believed, which is unlikely, the first choice striker is Kevin Gameiro with Sandro second. Expect Slimani mentioned in the next couple of days as well although we know the script now.

Cant help but think we will need 2 out of them 3 to have any chance of staying up.Before people say Sandro is shite. All 3 are better than what we have.
But we all know we will get none.

We wont get any. We've been fed too much PR in one swoop. A striker bid that will break our transfer record and a clutch of names that will strengthen us considerably. It's like E numbers to a charva on panda coke.

Meanwhile the likes of Liverpool spend £75m on a defender, Man Utd and Arsenal swop players worth over £30m for nowt, Chelsea are on the verge of strengthening their bench with a £50m offer for a couple of players and the likes of little clubs like Brighton with not much income creep closer to our 22 year old record.

Not be long before the championship transfer record beats ours.
