While the apologists continue to maintain that Rafa has not been adequately backed lets have a look at one of this seasons success stories up to now, Burnley. It appears they sold their best players last year and made a big profit in the transfer window. Still flying high. That's what I would expect a highly skilled manager to be able to achieve.

Let’s see where they finish and how they do next season, a couple of weeks ago Silva at Watford was the next big thing. He also plays god awful football and who says they were his best players he sold, certainly not the team’s who signed them.
