Dont know if anyone follows the horses but the jumps season is underway and two good horses are out for a spin tomorrow at Newbury having a few quid on Thistlecrack and Yanworth as a double and hoping they still have it one is back from injury and the other flopped last time out but i am keeping the faith with both and hoping cream comes to the top. A £10 double pays £35.

I don't bet on the horses although me dad used to back in the day with me and me brother cheering any winners on but on a similar betting theme..

I reckon it's worth a few quid on Moyes not lasting the season at West Ham

Yeah he looked likeca broken man on the touchline last night and any team that make Everton look like world beaters have serious problems. I have made a few quid on the football betting this season i have been going with the penalty awarded markets which are usually about 3-1.

Never been much for betting but my son got a job with Coral last April so I opened an account with £6 and started doing £2 accumulators. OK, so it's win a few, lose a few but without having put any more cash in, the account now stands at £50.38.

I doubt any horse will get near Thistlecrack tomorrow Bruce. Willoughby Court might give Yanworth a run for your money. Saturday is when I have a flutter with my son, but same stake and format.

Cheers Bruce, didn't see the race but it seems Thistlecrack didn't perform like he did in the King George VI last season.

An old fav of mine runs tomorrow.Had a hell of a lot of injuries.Backed it everytime it runs and got a fair few quid when it won the Gold Cup in 2015.Coneygree.Think injuries have caught up with it but at between 12s its worth a couple eachway out of sentiment.

My advice to anyone is to lump on the brains trust of Carver and Pardew getting a win tomorrow, sure as shit his smug face will be interviewed on MOTD tomorrow waxing lyrical about how he’s delighted to be back and James McLean has class* written all over him.

*shit tattoos

Mark i am looking forward to seeing coneygree tomorrow and his last run out showed that he still has the bottle its just if he can come on for that run and if he can even be 80% of the horse he was then he has a good chance. I have never won anything on him but loved watching him win the gold cup.

Looking forward to it myself Bruce.Have just had a little eachway flutter on at 12s.Put 2.50 eachway on but would just as much like to see a return to form as a win.Strange how certain horses become favourites with people. My old fella always goes on about FlyingBolt.Saying none of these horses today would live with it.

He has a point as Flyingbolt is the second best rated NH horse of all time, only 2lb behind Arkle!

Won the Supreme Novices Hurdle, Irish Champion Hurdle, Arkle, Champion Chase and Irish National so clearly quality and versatile with it.

Thats why i love NH racing you can follow a horse for years seeing Sprinter Sacre in full flow at Cheltenham was a privilage and he would go down as my favourite horse i witnessed Faugheens comeback last week and i cant wait to see him reclaim his crown at Cheltenham if he stays fit.
