Why is Ashley pissed off ?

He's making money from the club and 50,000 turn up every home game without a wimper.

After formally confirming he is actively attempting to sell the club part of the official statement read....

“To give the club the best possible opportunity of securing the positioning and investment necessary to take it to the next level at what is an important time in its history, its present ownership has determined that it is in the best interests of Newcastle United and its fans for the club to be put up for sale,”

Were there dissenting groups that got under his skin perhaps

Clearly something has, what we know for sure is that it's not the "faithful" who have made him feel unwanted.

I think its a mixture of things. He bought the club on a whim and wasnt used to being in the spotlight, then he realised he didnt have a clue how to run a football club and he pissed off a portion of the fanbase and got a lot of negative publicity. He had to do interviews which he had avoided in the past and his lies caught up with him. He needs to sell up and fuck off abd hipefully buy the tramps.

PieMag. You already know I can't see your shite.

While it's a given, that if your brains were made of dynamite you wouldn't have enough to make you sneeze, but you should know by now.

Deserter. Likes the going, only when its smooth enough. No bumps please, for PieMag.

He definitely wanted to be loved mick,he lapped up the attention when he was buying drinks down the BM for fans during his honeymoon period.

My take on his situation would be along the lines of he sees a football club in a different light to his run of the mill businesses. He has to keep pumping money into the club ( by his take on things) lending the club money to pay premier league wages etc while in the championship and having to stump up transfer market fees . All spending his cash .

I don't think it's a case of not being loved.. look how he treats his staff and family members. ( he is that thick skinned upsetting a few northern monkeys) would not make him lose sleep.
I just think between us and rangers he has had his fill of football.

"I just think between us and rangers he has had his fill of football."

Rangers fans were much more vocal and organised in their protests against Ashley TP.
They pissed him off big time, and we all know how he reacts to criticism.

Regardless, very few will disagree with the final part of your post.

I personally think the only reason he’s selling is he just doesn’t like getting bad (or any) publicity, his staged interview with David Craig a couple of months ago just backfired, with everyone just laughing at more lies and nonsense. Nobody takes him seriously in football and I think it's finally got to him that:
a) He's not a football man and never has been.
b) He has no intention or interest in becoming a football man.
c) He has finally admitted to himself that he's got it wrong.
d) He has no understanding of how to put it right.
e) He doesn't care at all about the club or the game to put things right.

Publicity he can handle, but only on his terms, like that staged shite of him emptying his
pockets of wads of cash at a Shite Direct warehouse claiming he didn't know he had it on him,
when it's on somebody elses terms then we see the child in him and that's why I think he may
have had enough, with football he doesn't get to choose the publicity he gets.
