That's what I hate when fans say I go and support the players and club but I don't support the regime. You are supporting him you fucking dullards, every time you pay to watch them play you're supporting the thing you say your not.

Once it's been officially confirmed the sale of the club is off I hope they lose every game from then till the end of the season.

I hope benitez fucks off but he won't because he won't want to lose any money. If the people that go won't boycott till fatty goes relegation and no promotion till the parachute payments have stopped is what's needed.

You either want rid of him or not, no fucking about. if you love the club but go along with what fatty is doing to the club you love you deserve fuck all.

In my view this announcement yesterday changed absolutely nothing. Ashley was never going to drop his price because I don't believe he is really fussed about selling. Its just a negotiating tactic to see if there is anyone out there prepared to pay over the current odds for a "club with Potential". Ashleys comments come over like a staged walkout of a meeting to "recalibrate" the negotiation. Something I have seen many times.

As for the NDA if you believe everything (or even just some things) in the papers is genuine I would say it has been compromised many times by both sides. It could get rather messy if they decided to have a fight about that.

Fans who go to the game and fund Ashleys regime. Sorry lads but in my humble opinion you should hang your heads in shame. Not only now but ever since KK walked. That was the end for me and so it will remain so long as that fat bastard is in charge of our once great football club. The only thing which could make a difference is an empty ground, but I fear they would fill it with day trippers anyway. Picket lines anyone?

Rafa should walk now.
Hopefully get thrashed by Man City and then the pressure is on Ashley.

I hope he already has walked. As for people that say an empty stadium wouldnt bother Ashley. If it is say 52000 at 300 quid a head(will be more)per season that is over 15m quid.Bet you wouldnt mind that on a striker. If we gave a shit anymore that is.
An empty ground and his tatty advertising wouldnt get noticed.Would be like the mackems and boro. You would only notice how empty it was.

I agree he would hate pictures of an empty stadium going around the media. Especially with his tat advertising emblazoned all around. I think it would stop him in his tracks, dangerous game 'though "we don't know how nasty he can be" after all.

All joking aside mind I am not surprised the fat bastard turned down an offer of £250m when he wants £350m. They seem to be the figures getting reported. Sounds to me like the lovely Amanda and her team thought they could take the daft cxnt for a ride. £250m doesn't sound enough for me when you look at the revenues just from TV money. Lets hope there is a serious buyer out there somewhere, and that Ashley really wants to sell. Me I doubt both.

Even with those figures, what we don't know is if it is plus or minus the debt to Ashley. If it is £250m plus a repayment schedule, that seems more than fair given the way Ashley runs the business and the risk of relegation.

This should be a £200m turnover business and will probably be about £160m this year. He keeps profitability up by cutting costs and asset stripping. If he ran it as an ambitious football club, generating commercial income to go with that ambition, plus a higher league position, it might be worth £350 plus the debt repaid.

http://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/every-premier-league-club...

No surprises here folks .

When you look at net spend per season, over 10 years the net spend has been less than 75% of Premier League clubs last summer, at about £3.2m per year. That is mind blowingly appalling, especially when you can see how the others have traded.

Every club in the premier league has broken their transfer record in the last 3 seasons.Ours goes back to 2005.Even big clubs like Bournemouth,Burnley etc who we cant compete with. Can add Brighton and Huddersfield to the list now. When we go down as long as they stay up,we might at a push compete with Burton in the Championship.

Maybe Staveley couldn't provide the funds maybe she could. Not sure what this article means in the long run.

You're right, Toony. if you check back through the threads, it was mentioned by someone that Staveley's net worth is around £110m. She had to have backers. It was hope that Ashley could be gone that motivated a lot of us to wish we could believe.

What was inevitable has happened.

I hate to say it but from the reports going around it doesn't look like the Staveley bid would have been much help. Although I think I would rather have Steptoe and Son in charge than that odious fat bastard.

Looking like Staveley was on some sort of ego trip to me.
Obviously never had the money behind her, in the form of Arab/Quatar all along.
If it was to be financed by the crowd mentioned in London, you bet they would want a turn on the money invested, just like the fat cunt in charge now.
And there would have been nothing left for strengthening.
That being the case we could have ended up in a worse position than now.

How somebody does not see the place for what it could be, is now beyond me, and feel the place is stuck with the fat parasite for the long term.

It seems like there are two types of owners now. Those who want to make a few quid and those to whom the football club is just an expensive toy. I guess we were and are all hoping for the latter. Here's hoping.

I wonder what that dopey fxcker Cuckfan would have made of all this? I mean he had connections in the club after all.

Still seems keen but Ashley has managed to put doubts in peoples minds.Anyone can take over for me.Even if they just invested TV money every year.Just want rid of the fat twat.Think this is going to do our heads in for a lot longer yet.

That's one of the stats I have found shocking.

I think I am right in saying that 4 Championship clubs invested more than NUFC in the summer, most have a bigger net spend over the last 2 years and 3 have spent over £12m on a player. That is something we haven't done since 2005.

The most accurate figure is an average annual spend of £3.2m even though the Jan window shows the biggest surplus.

That statement is technically correct minus a few words:

Ashley spends (a fraction of) what is generated.

Will remind us all of Bullseye.Only change the words from look at what you could've won,to look who you could've had.
All the while stuck with the same shite.Apparently it will be on the Times website at midnight.Think you have to subscribe to read their shite though.
