Random quote: Keggy Keegal on Pardew saying we 'rebooted' - yeah we rebooted then Carver pressed Ctrl, Alt, Delete brought the task manager up and we could see Colo was using too much ram , so we ended the process and erm we're unlucky not to get something

Those two liabilities should be kept firmly on the bench where they can't harm us until they're sold. Although arguably makes for a stronger bench if we're struggling with half an hour to go.

Ive a feeling that Shelvey may replace Hayden as he took more knocks last week.

Shelves is a big part of Newcastle’s future.

Rafa is serving him notice. You win nothing with ten men on the pitch.

Merino moves a game closer to being ours.

According to whisper, the Merino deal isn't the alleged 20 game thing plus Rafa reckons we can sign him 'easily' next Summer with many just saying it's a permanent deal already in all but name. Hope so.

A repeat from late Feb will do me

Ritchie - Atsu - Perez - gerrin. The away end went mental.

Still dont know how Diame's 'shot' went in. We've had the best goal seen live at St James' debate but the flukiest goal ever is surely his.

Mbemba makes a hell of a difference supporting Atsu down the left, some great link up play

Merino yet again the best player on the pitch. Wonder how much longer we've got to keep him a secret?

Fuck me, how these cunts are in the top half is baffling! They're going to concede another one soon.

They're definitely shaky at the back, problem is we're pretty toothless upfront.

Pingel, back of the head against Liverpool? Let's be honest, it was never going to come off the front of it.

Didn't think we were shite, but thought they played really well and we were poor. Ritchie had a slight off day which he's allowed and no one else stepped up, disappointing. Said last week being toothless upfront will cost us points throughout the season and it will. Yedlin's no footballer as well.

If we attacked them in the first half with the same impetus as the last 15 mins maybe it would have been different.

Joselu looks every inch a £5m player. Problem being that we need £20m strikers.

We do not have anyone who is capable of being a consistant striker in The Premiership. The current lots finishing is poor at best. Add to this a negative defensive approach and regular slow starters in a game and prospects are not good.
We suddenly spring into life when we fall behind, but do not have the ammunition.
A takeover and the next transfer window is the only hope of correcting this.
In the meantime play Shelvey andMareno and give Murphy a run.
Peres far too inconsistant, flashes of skill, little else.

Mitrovic is headed for the exit in January but will have one last chance to save his career no doubt. He could grasp his next chance as our most prolific premier league striker.

He has 10 goals in 35 PL games.

Joselu has 5 in 25. Gayle has 15 in 66.

Further afield, Perez has 13 in 74.
