Anybody here old enough to be able to remember celebrating winning a cup or a being top flight champions. I was 2 when they won the old Fairs Cup, but too young to celebrate or understand it.....celebrated a few old 2nd division and EFL wins but they don't really count.

Same as you with the fairs cup. Celebrated being promoted in the 80' s and still cant remember what happened after the Grimsby game promotion in the 90's was at the game but fuck knows how i got home 2 days later. Also celebrated heating Barca at home in the CL as though we had won the thing goes down as one of the best days in my life.

Nope.

And before we can think about winning anything, we need to have a stable platform to do it from.

I'm more confident under Rafa we have the capability. But only if fatty backs him.

It is actually one of Rafa's jobs now, to persuade the one with his hands on the purse strings.

Good luck with this one Gilly.

Based on average memory recall stats you are looking for a current poster aged 65-66 (FA cup) or 94-95 (modern day PL)

Even CF, alias Manuel "I know nothing" can compete with that.

Ahem, go easy with the stats PM. I saw every home game (six of them) in the Fairs Cup winning season. I lost a shoe at the end of the semi final game, didn't find it either. Happy days.

Ha ha mac you made me laugh there

In fairness though because gilly included the Fairs cup in his post I did not count it in mine.

I therefore relegate you to bairn status unless you can prove you are 65+

Very difficult to pick one, but in England, at the moment I'd say Pillar, that might change in 3-6 months. As I walk in different seasons my experiences and views change.
