Jacob Murphy Signs 5 Year Deal

Never heard of him before, even though he seems to be a big part of the England U21 setup.

Anyone seen him play?

How come he's a Toon fan?

This is the kind of player we want and need - ones who actually, really, truly want to play for us; not get here just for the pay-packet. We've done that to death in the past.

Has he signed has he? Or are Norwich not happy with our offer of 20 quid and a pack of Bensons.

And rightly so, frankly.

It's the whole transfer window thing this season, Mc.

Gone mad.

With the amount of players he'll have to gel, he'll have wanted time to do it. A luxury he hasn't got, it seems.

Still, most other clubs are in the same boat - not that much business has been done, overall.

Not that all clubs need the overhaul we do, mind.

Two relegations and a catalogue of errors and embarrassment during his tenure and yet the owner still refuses to show any ambition. Just sell up and fuck off you fat parasite.

He's no interest in wanting the club to better itself and that to me is a breach of the being fit to be an owner rule.

The only saving grace here is that there is over six weeks left in the window but it'll eventually close and when it does and if there is not enough done in it, will be his downfall. Just cant see the logic in it whatsoever unless there really is a takeover in the works. I dont think there is and I reckon he's here until he dies.

People always say things like that toony "it will be his downfal" i will tell you it wont because he owns the club 100%. The ones that go wont do fuck all because they are scared they will have to spend a few hours with their families on a Saturday/Sunday/Monday or whenever the game is on if they chucked their ST in.

I think your right Billy to a certain extent. I love my Saturday's with wor lass and my daughters dogs and I wouldn't do a Saturday game even with a free ticket. In my mid fifties now so probably may have grown out of the Saturday match day experience with the lads but I still like to meet up for the midweekers.

I disagree because this time there will be no benefit of the doubt like there has been at other times.

A fan base that got fed up at varying stages in time with the soul almost stripped to then being in harmony at the coronation of Rafa and everything he has instilled back into the club.

I agree that efforts to rid the cancer have been piss poor at times but if Ashley is playing a dangerous game with Rafa then he'll be risking more than the value of the place. Id surmise that some will go for blood.

Rafa should walk. The fat controller and his numpty Charnley cannot be trusted. They are trying to do everything on the cheap then spouting that they are looking for success. Keegan summed then up correctly.
The current squad is a relegation squad.
You just hope beyond hope I am wrong and that there is some quality incoming. The problem is they have trouble shifting average or poor players that are in long contracts.

'I'd surmise that some will go for blood'

I'd surmise that some will go for a pint and a pie 5 mins before the first half finishes, handing Ashley more money, they may leave the match 10 mins early cause of their long drive. Ashley won't know what's fucking hit him.

That Germany !

He must be Walter mitty,I mean Germany !

Moving swiftly on, there at are quite a few posts clamouring for raffa to walk.

I know i'm repeating myself, but he is the problem, the fans refuse to see it but he is a much better foil than Pardew ever was or could be.
His line about the crazy market was just plain fucking lame though.

It was widely promoted that Benitez would walk at the first sign of Ashley piss taking, well he hasn't but he MUST be aware that the piss is being royally taken, even his second in command CF realises that now.

Quite agree , as I mentioned elsewhere if Rafa stays and just lets his media chums do the "Rafa will walk headlines" without backing them up he's powerless. He's in danger now of putting himself in a position where he's as much of an apologist for Ashley as Pardew ever was.

I think Rafa can see the potential of the club and he must be totally frustrated, not just the lack of signings so far, but the total lack of ambition. As has been mentioned he's backing himself into a corner so it's time to `put up' or `shut up'. When he leaves I just hope he doesn't leave under a gagging order like the previous tossers and forgoes his compensation to expose the fat cunt for what he is. If he is truly a man of principle that's the least he owes us for our unwavering support.

I do genuinely believe Benitez loves the club, the history the iconic stadium and the city. The wasted potential will eventually see him leave, Ashley really has never got it and it's a crying shame.

The opportunity is clearly there.

It should be grasped. Ultimately it would be in fat boys own interest to do right, and invest.

The Sun reckon we've bid £10m for Sheyi Ojo. Either this is the usual shite to make it look like the club is bothering to do business, an attempt to get Norwich to accept an alleged offer of up to £12m for Murphy or that the interest didn't mount to much and we want a cheaper alternative further down the list.

Either way, with just over 6 weeks left in the window, we'll find out soon enough.

Still behind the pace, fatty.

But forward motion, if it happens.

More please chubby, and quick about it - especially a striker.

English, Young. Capable.

Fit's the fatty model.

Expensive.

Doesn't.

If he's any good, Spurs will be offering us £50m in couple of years; and £30m if he isn't.
