And well deserved too - finishing 5th, FFS.

I'm not a fan of this play-off shite - if you finish 3rd you should go up, simple as. Up to 6th place should have cock-all to do with it.

Mind you, they'll finish bottom next season - so one club less to worry about.

Eh? They didn't win a game in the play-off's or even score a goal. Going up with a -2 goal difference I would be concerned especially with 5 on loan players who were regular starters.

Yes, finishing third with this format doesn't guarantee promotion as we well know, although we went up when third when Keegan was playing under the old format. That was a while ago.

I just think it's unfair.

All clubs play each other twice over a full season - and get to finish 3rd say.

Then it's possible some club gets lucky after finishing 6th, and takes promotion away from the ones who deserve it most.

And finishing 6th you've fuck all chance of staying up.

3rd place deserves it, pure and simple.

Huddersfield, should not be going up.

The plus side for us, is they've no chance.

Years ago I used to think it was unfair but there's been more than enough time for everyone involved to know the drill.

I think it's a good thing now.

Just a money making scheme, should be just two up and two down. Handy six points for most clubs next season though with Huddersfield going up.
