When does pre-season start?

Bit of a bonus finishing the season when they did, rather than let it drag on through the play-offs.

They'll be well rested already.

Rafa will want the majority of his signings in from day one.......whenever that is?

Window opens on July 1st when Atsu will be officially announced. Pre-season training starts 2 days later on the 3rd when they do all the testing etc.

Monday 3rd. Ok - cheers.

That's a good break for the lads. So much better than slogging it out for the last promotion slot, and even the Prem sides playing today.

Atsu in by then, as confirmed as it can be.

Gives Rafa (and the club) 6 weeks to do whatever business they can to get players in, for day 1.

He'll be hoping the vast majority is done by then, so he can actually get on with the job. No doubt there will be last minute twists and business still to do - but if it's done in the main before they arrive for pre-season, it'll stand us in good stead.

He'll push very hard for this.
