Fascinating stuff, more exhilarating than watching them goons on channel 5 covering the Toon, could be worth watching tomorrow.
Had mi highest break of around 29 in some scabby youth club in Sheffield 1969 "Something in the air" playing in the background.

Was watching it Rytoon when it got to 10-6 to Higgins and the final frame of the night but we've just had a power cut in our street, so missed it.

Finished 10-7 for the night.
Was an apprentice sparky in the Crucible when it was being built, hoyed a few wires in a few sockets & another song springs to mind "We've got to get out of this place".
Left the apprenticeship & Sheffield behind as a 16yr old with a mate, went fruit picking to Wisbech, returned briefly as a 21yr old.
Hope you got your leccy sorted & Higgins wins it tomorrow.

Aye, power was only off for an hour and was down to a fuse in the sub station apparently according to the wife at Northern Powergrid. Just got a feeling that Selby will win now regardless of being 3 behind as he seemed beaten at one point.

My initial thoughts are spot on so far. Selby leads 13-11 going into the final session later. That's some going considering he was 10-4 down at one point.

Just thought yesterday that something clicked him out of his sluggish spell.

i knew Selby was going to win when Higgins lost the last 3 frames to lead only 10-7. Both class players and i think if the Chinese don't dominate in the near future Selby could have a good few more wins in him. Its a shame for Higgins my favourite player as i don't think he will ever get another chance to win his 5th title.

Higgins has done well to come back from the match fixing stuff which knacked his career. He's still only 41 and is now back up to 2 in the world so there may be a second wind.
