Well with some kick off times on a Saturday being moved to 11.30am to satisfy the Far East viewers it would seem that slowly but surely football fans in this country are having to bow to their influence. Will Mike?

With talk suggesting that it may be a partner rather than a sale, the fact that the Asian market just blows the European market right out the water may give the answer.

Clothing made there and with a deal through the right person with a discount, I can see how this can prosper Ashley's tat empire more than us. Just have to wait and see like usual.

It's not a sale . Ashley does not want to sell . He is willing to sell of some of his stake whilst still retaining control however .

Brilliant news if there's any truth in it,though I'm a tad suspicious when it comes to anything fatty.
IF there is any credence in it,take your minions with you.
You've sullied the name of the club for nearly a decade with poison & lies, good fkn riddance.

The strength of this board was the removal of fatty a few years ago,or has it become dummet's got an injury. This is massive,if cuckfan & his entourage remain silent & sit & wait whilst fatty calls the tune & sit passively by then perhaps the board is dead.I'm almost tempted to buy a season ticket next year & sit with mi Grandbairn's I'm wavering but the 3 of em will be told of that fucker who ripped this club apart, get fkn rid.If we end up in the 3rd division with some Chinese conglomerate,so be it.He has no place in our city.

Luke Edwards, who wrote the piece, reckons the bloke drafted in is a gung ho type that takes no prisoners in negotiations but I would have thought that as 'we' are the one trying to sell something that you cant afford to be.

We're better off employing one of them dolly birds like they do on the darts.

If the tubby one sells the club, where do people's stances leave them?
People who boycotted and call the club SDU, will they re attend ? has their stance become so hardened that NUFC no longer feels like their club? could the people who took the stance go back to the ground supporting the club? would fans who went for the last 10 years through thick and thin welcome them back with open arms? has a wedge been driven between the fans that can't be fixed? no malice intended just genuinely intrested

if he sells i just hope the potential new investors are an improvement, now that may well be shot at with they cant be any worse, but ask Villa, Leeds and Charlton fans if they would have Ashley............sometimes its the devil you know

I would.

could the people who took the stance go back to the ground supporting the club

I don't support Ashley or SDU,if he goes and we get an owner who respects our club why not ?

has a wedge been driven between the fans that can't be fixed

For a minority maybe,
personally i'm saddened by how easy it was for Ashley to take the piss,
I understand why some could or would not give up supporting a team wearing black and white stripes (occasionally
) playing at our home ground though.

I'll probably not be back if truth be told. I'm past giving up my weekends and I'll never get the love back I once had. The passion has gone for me. Although I'll always watch on the tv if I'm free.

Much rather do things with my kids, my partner or my mates.

He'll not sell, he'll maybe sell a share in the club the meglomaniac arsehole, but his arrogance means he'll stay in a knowledgable football advisory role. Help to sign the greatest managers out there to lift us to the next level. Kung Jo Kinnear and Chicken chop Souness, Fried Allardyce and Par Dew Sum. Ashley will never sell up, unless they throw in a buffet for the glutinous fat fuck.

No one on here who calls the club SDU boycotted, they never went regularly in the first place. Fleetingly, maybe, regularly over any length of time, not a chance.

Those who genuinely boycotted and refrained from name calling I would imagine would be welcomed back.

Pie, SDA was a short lived gimmick. SDU never existed.

I've never known anyone in real life welcome him.

It's those that looked for the first excuse to bail out that I smile at, and those that claim but never did.

Still, glad to hear you'll be travelling up from Plymouth on a regular basis once he's gone

Once the club has an owner who hasn't corrupted our thoughts of their hidden intentions and the club starts doing well then people will change their stance.

I think alot of people will be of the same ilk, football supporting has changed over the decades... i grew up in the 70's & 80's which to me were great eras to be supporting our club. Modern day attending games is so different..... more sterile, but attending games in the 70-80's would have been different from attending in the 50-60's. possibly more hostile. People bang on about old atmosphere's but seldom will those days be recreated as everything has changed lifestyles , grounds, breed of fan and policing. That goes for the country not just our place. Like Mac & OM i have other things in my life that have filled my days, so just random games for me.

Thing is Pyrry, drunken old divorcees like Eaststand see it as a medal of honour that they have attended throughout. As if they're some sort of super fan. When in reality it's pathetic that they've got nothing better in their lives than taking it up the shitter off Ashley instead of making a sacrifice for the greater good.

I suppose her getting to see men in shorts, running about the pitch whilst taking it in the wrongun is the nearest thing she'll get to coitus these days.

I think part of not going anymore although Ashley's made it easier is just getting older, you realise there's more important things in life. When you're younger footy's everything, constantly playing the game and watching everything you can both live and on the telly. Nowadays we're saturated with it, I can barely be arsed watching us never mind anyone else. I think the only games I watched most of all season were the FA cup final and the Champions league final. The histrionics of the players and the unbearable ex pro pundits make it easy to turn your back on the game these days.

According to the ronny gill, two new Chinese groups have shown interest this week and know how much Ashley wants.

There's nowt written about what they have said or done about the price but the two English words we know that could have been used wont be too many syllables in Chinese and may have been similar.

Apology accepted

On a serious note,a fair amount of our support use attendance like a badge of honour (not aimed at you).

I use every available opportunity to argue how fucking thick that stance is,my love of NUFC is as strong as any supporter.

Unlike ,OM, PK, and mac amongst others, who have had their fix over the years,I am hopeful that one Ashley less day, I will be able to support the team home and away until I am sated.

With the prima-donna types that call themselves footballers these days mind ,that could be less than 90 minutes

Yep, the kind of thing Ashley's been doing since he arrived, anything to divert from the fact he's still not prepared to pay for good footballers. Season tickets will be confirmed before the Chinese mystery investors disappear and we just couldn't get anyone over the line.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rafa was part of a consortium that wanted to buy us with him approaching us originally. He spruces the place up in readiness for the big wig having a look around.

Rafa is simply interested in the pay cheque now. Just as any man of sound mind would be.

Why would you enter what was formerly known as St James' Park now? It's like the working class voting for Tory.
