Random quote: Kevin Keegan - “I saw an interview where Alan Pardew said he hoped to get some of that £35million. I thought: ‘Alan, you ain’t going to get any of that.’

Us to go up, or Sunderland to go down.

Think the Makems will just shade this one.

We could in theory have this sown up if results go our way by the end of next Saturday bar the shouting.

Realistically though, as long as we win our home games and with Leeds up next after Burton, we win that on Good Friday, that would be that as far as im concerned. If we're talking mathematically then I reckon at a guess that we'll be up around the Preston home game on Sky on the 24th April.

The Mackems will be confirmed later as they only have 4 league games in the time we have 6 and even then, they'll still have 5 matches to play to our 1 so nowt will be resolved until we're done so we can drink it up.

They are 3 games adrift now, with just 9 to play.

I'd rather soonlan were in the top league than the likes of Brighton.

I'm in the minority in that I don't hate soonlan. Only when we are playing them, and even then it isn't hate. I can love my team without hating somebody else's. I actually do hate Chelsea, with a passion mind, but any sensible person dislikes those cockney knife carrying cowardly racist cunts. I'm old enough to remember The Farmer's Rest incident and as far as I'm concerned hanging is too good for those wankers. They're all writing books now in their revisionist version of events. I laughed my head off when that little fat cunt Chris "chubby" Henderson died. Karma's a bitch innit.

I agree, why would you want to go away to some shithole like (say) Wigan or Bournemouth rather than Sunderland. Also I enjoy seeing the daft cunts suffer every year as the laughing stock of the premiership. They win a few games last off and the dopey twats all buy their season tickets again. Tragic really but I do hope they somehow stay up.

In my view no club should be allowed into the premier league unless they have at least a 40K seater stadium which is regularly near full. Make these tosspot little clubs invest before they get their snouts in the trough.

The top ten attendances in Europe this weekend included (home team) Real Madrid, Man U, Bayern M, Monaco, Hamburg and others. 4th in the highest attendances was Coventry City, bottom of Div 1. Well it was a cup final for them and I would guess a decent payday as well as winning.
If you want to travel to an away game CTM it is so difficult to get a ticket if you're a Toon fan. I've yet to get one for a derby game at the Stadium of Shite but other grounds like Wigan it's not so difficult.
We were the 10th highest gate of the weekend in Europe, an investment in the close season wouldn't go amiss.
