I would also be tempted to take it as he'll never be prolific and there'll always be a question about his temperament. He isn't really a hard man just a lunatic.

The Sporting link was played down yesterday as they can't afford the asking price and his wages trump their highest by at least £15k a week.

He's defo got ability and potential, but needs to learn and to learn quick, the problem is he's plainly thick as pigshit and therefore may never learn, no matter who he's coached by. I'd be tempted to take that, can see him getting sent off every week in the championship.

I am really interested to see how he fares in the Championship, I thought I read some place that Raf rates him as well? 15 mill would be hard to turn down though mind, he isn't worth that much

You think De Jong is crap? He must be doing fuck all in training because he is probably our best player. Just look at Ben Arfa now. Easily one of the top 20 best players we've ever had.

Oh how people ridiculed me. I'm yet to call a bad one yet. Manx Mag can verify that. His bank balance shows it.

Oh and I called Sissoko to be nothing but a clogger too from day one. A tall Amdy Faye. Snozzer from Stoke will back me up. The majority were wanking because he could run the 100m slower than me when I was 15 years old.

Give yerself a knock man.

Ben Arfa could not piss on other similar type players that have worn a Newcastle shirt.

You should be skint if you honestly believe he compares to the likes of Beardsley Gascoigne Ginola Waddle Bellamy or even Jimmy Smith.
I'd even stick keith gillespie and Ruel Fox in front of the useless waste of space.

Sorry OM personally i rate players on how they do for the club not for what they do in an inferior league which the French league is. He was shite here but stick him in a league that is probably equivalent to the championship bar PSG and of course he is going to shine. Stick Sissoko in the French league and no doubt he will be a world beater.

I probably should've said wingers tbh. I certainly can't think of many better in my lifetime at least. All subjective of course.

Think Ben Arfa felt loved by the fans, didn't he watch a game with them when Pardew was in the process of dumping him out of the team?
Ben Arfa on his day was superb, just not consistant enough. Pardew should have built his team around him, no need to track back etc his brief should have just been win us the game. Pardew just mis managed him in my opinion. I get the arguments re carrying a player and premier league doest allow that luxary etc but i would have given it a go.

Pardew accommodates both Zaha and Bolasie though Pyrry.
Although to be fair he has stated that they both need to learn how to defend.

Interesting to see you massively change the perameters now you look a bit daft but I reckon I'm in the top 20 Left Backs the club has ever had

No I did not say I think de Jong is crap. I would have thought it wouldn't need spelling out which one was crap and which was a sicknote. To clarify: mitro crap; de Jong: sicknote

I can't find anything in the press to ratify that story. Shame, really. ?15Mill which, we are told, would be given to the manager to invest wisely, for a bloke I think is a red card waiting to happen, would be very nice.

I think he'll still be here for the new season. But then, my player predictions are usually crap.

I'd love it if Rafa was able to pick up a bit of bargain bin greased lightning like a previous manager did from Bristol in the early Nineties. Now if he does that, I may start to dream again.

For me,I'd take 15million for him,he's mediocre at best.
I'd cash in on Perez as well, never goin to cut it in the championship or premier league, replace Dummet & get some attacking impetus down the left, some creativity in the middle of the park & a striker who can hold the ball & we'll walk it.
As for De jung he's a shit Bergkamp.Ginola probably the best winger I've seen in a black & white shirt.
Time for the fat fucker to spend some of the clubs money.

I agree about Perez, get rid.

Mitrovic, the jury is still out. I'd like to see him do well, but fear he'll never curb his stupid ways. Never going to get us 20 a season either, which is what we need.

he ripped austria a new one.could have had 4 in the first half,i thought he would tear the chumpionship up,still do,but until he gets a run in the team then the jury remains out, saying that if....big IF he had put half the chamces he missed away last season he would have been around the 15-18 goal mark for his debut season at 20/21 years old.....but he did'nt and now sits on the bench.....there is a player there imo

He's always struck me as a physical presence able to disrupt and unnerve teams like Duncan Ferguson for example, but he hasn't looked a decent enough finisher at Premier League or Championship level. He also seems to struggle for fitness, the games where he's started he seems to fade very quickly and at times I think he's looked like he needs to lose half a stone to a stone .
