A video titled
Brexit: Facts Not Fear

59% of our laws are made in the EU, yet he fails to name one

On 72 occasions Britain has opposed new EU laws and been defeated 72 times.

Again which ones ?

Very few facts but loads of emotive claptrap.

Tbh, I've watched nearly all of it and he's all over the place. Conspiracies at every turn and believes that all of these dark forces are working against us. Destroy all sovereignty, destroy all nations! I wonder if he realises that we are actually part of the EU and not just a bit on the side that gets told what to do.

I simply can't give credit to a loon box either. I'll stick with professors.

I also wonder if he realises the 'migrants' he talks about are from non-EU countries and therefore our government regulates it, not the EU.

Great video from a very well educated man. Unbiased and in the know. It's 20 mins long but well worth it.

https://www.facebook.com/UniversityofLiverpool/videos/12933619740245...

OM, I watched this video and as im still fairly undecided but steering to the 'out' vote will tell you my thoughts.

Aside from the alarm bells that went off in my head when the bloke said he'd done work for the cabinet and the BBC amongst others, I thought id put thoughts of bias to one side.

It is obvious from what he was saying that he knows how the EU is set up but he reminded me of my parents in that he was so negative, for him especially to us being out.

His attitude on reminding me of me parents is that there was too much insinuation of 'we cant do this' and 'we cant do that', in my opinion.

I thought he concentrated too much on saying how he thought things would be rather than admit that things are shit now and there being nowt to look forward to but more doom and gloom. I still fail to see how anyone can know for certain how things will pan out on either side and this hasn't really helped my thoughts at all.

That's where the doubt comes in. on one hand you see him have an opinion and the mindset automatically tells you to go the opposite way as he's not to be trusted but with the way im wired up now, I wouldn't be surprised if it's some plan to get us to vote out and that be the decision that they really want.

Be pleased when this is over and the fall out can start.

Regardless of the result come friday morning let's not forget it was the tories who promised the referendum to appease the right wingers in their party & the threat of voters switching allegiance to ukip.
Most of the media has allowed the circus to be fought out amongst the fuckin idiots who are running our country in a climate of austerity & our public services being cut to the bone.
Best scenario friday is the tories start ripping themselves apart & folk smelling the opportunity for real change with johnson, cameron, duncan fkn smith, farrage & their like hoying punches at each other.I'm voting in.

I'm a socialist, and I'm voting to leave. If we do leave (and it's a very big "if" now that the Remain camp have exploited the death of Jo Cox) I think we'll have a few years of hell, but then we'll have the opportunity to vote them out. I'm happy to have the debate with anyone who knows what they think, and can articulate it themselves. I'm not that impressed by the word of a "professor" as short arsed racist Office Monkey seems to think I should be. I've encountered professors previously in my former life as a student. It's not a novelty to hear one speak. I've made my decision during many hours of serious discussion with people who've taken the time to inform themselves of the issues.

Vote leave, take control of your destiny, don't be afraid of the dark.

For a man that considers himself a skilled debater, you are spectacularly good at losing arguments OL.

Hopefully you won't take any of my words personally and refrain from directing private insults in my direction.

Any references to my 6ft 1inch frame (185.42 centimeters for the benefit of our EU friends),my dashing good looks, brilliant sense of humour, athletic ability and at the risk of coming across as a braggart, my sexual prowess, will only result in you losing an argument before you even start one.

I'm glad to see that you are not one of those leave campaigners who implored everyone not to politicize the death of a mother of two at the hands of a radicalized nut, then politicize her death by making outrageous claims suggesting her murder has swung the vote in favour of the remains camp.

Vote remain.
The EU can be reformed into a SOCIALIST and democratic state.
The tory party will always be the party of cunts that rules Britannia and creates little Englanders to fight their cause .

So I'm a racist now, apparently. The personal insults just keep getting flung about. I've noticed a pattern though. Whenever someone disagrees with him he goes on these epic vendettas, calling people names, trying to discredit them regardless of what they say. At worst it questions the mental stability, at best it's childish.

I think I've proved several times over that being a racist is something I am certainly not.

There was a time when I was 18 that I had slightly different views to what I have now about many subjects. Guess that's the thing with being young. You have a chance to grow up, mature, get educated. Naivety. Not sure what these blokes in their fifties can use as an excuse.

What i don't understand is if he is a racist and by the things that have been said about him he is, he is still mentally ill. Why didn't he stab and shoot that Asian woman that was with Jo Cox, surely a racist would sooner kill her than a white woman.

The thing is Cameron has used the death of Jo Cox to his advantage he linked his twitter account to Jo Cox’s final article in which she argued “we are stronger, safer and better off in” the EU.

It doesn't matter it looks like the remain campaign has won and no doubt that has earned Cameron/Osborne a nice cushy well paid job when they retire from politics from their banker friends.

There are contrasting figures on the number of Germans that were executed by Hitler for sympathising with the Jews Billy.

They range from 800 hundred or so up to seventy odd thousand, but executed they were.

I don't understand how anyone can now claim the remain campaign has won,two days ago they were 8 points behind according to a particular poll.

Always treat what newspapers write lightly, they are in the manipulation game and we rarely see their end game until we have already been shafted.

I'm at a loss with the how the leave campaign are now using using Jo Cox's death as a political excuse in the event of the country voting to stay.
She was killed by a radicalised loon, how else should it be reported ?

He was radicalised by people wanting out of the EU. It is as simple as that. If that's made people open their eyes then so be it.

I think this article fits in quite nicely with a few posters recently...

http://newsthump.com/2016/06/20/experts-to-be-replaced-with-angry-m...

Billy, with regards to your point about why he didn't go for the Muslim girl. Quite simply, the likes of Britain First have called us white folk who are a little more tolerant as traitors. They've actively said they want to bring back corporal punishment for these treacherous acts.

This debate just proves the whole charade is unwinnable.

There is no right or wrong way to vote as far as im concerned as we're fucked either way. Society in the general is fucked in this country with the only real doubt as to whether it's the EU's fault, the governments or somewhere in the script of the world police.

In fact, scrub the first bit of the last paragraph, most people will be voting for the side that they think the least damage will be caused by. A nod or a shake of the head isn't what's needed anyway because we're all dancing along to the tune of some higher self nominated power, what's really needed is downright rebellion.

Exactly why i'm voting stay.

We have a much better chance of beating the likes of blond boris if we have the support of ordinary French and German people fighting the same cause in the same corner.

Division will only benefit the public schoolboy clique that have been taking the piss for so many years now.

Haha, I did a little research and it certainly points towards no Photoshopping. Britain First have even taken it down from their page and website apparently. This was exposed on a few of 'Britain Furst' and 'Exposing Britain First' pages on Facebook.

exactly like cameron and osborne, but please don't exclude their even more evil quadruplets, blond boris and enoch farage.

If the simple minded voters in our country were to get their act together we need not hear from any of them ever again, but modern political history has shown that will not happen.

Quite surprised that some very wealthy land owners i know well (not close friends) are voting out.
they simply want a fair and level market for their produce without all the red tape that involves Brussells.
Fair play i say.

Aye there's another one of those overused sentences implanted into people's minds by the tory right think tanks.

"red tape and Brussels"

considering 38% of the entire 2014-20 EU budget is allocated as subsidies for european farmers i'm stunned that you are only quite surprised that your landed gentry associates are voting out.

Maybe they are telling you porkies bob.
