SBR Scorecast Final Table
27 August 2015 22:51 Post ID: #462502
The table has been kindly compiled by Mcnamee every week and sent to me to post. I have withheld it to keep it interesting and will do so until week 5, so dont worry (if anyone is)

The table may or may not be withheld at further points in order to generate more mystery or to keep it interesting but individual scores can be requested by any entrants to see how they've done, however, rival scores wont be given out until a table is published.

Hope this new way of doing it is to everyone's satisfaction.

As promised, the table stands like this after 4 games.

swimby 72
Toon_NoMatterWot 66
braith1952 64
Sir Laz 60
North Yorkshire Mag 58
Mcnamee67 51
thecorner 46
The Owl 28
mrtoon 17
keggy_keegal 7

As ever, it's a big thanks to Mcnamee for the scoring and his marking which is sent as soon as the final fixture ends, only for the likes of me to withhold it.

Hopefully this new way of showing the table a bit later isn't ruining it for anyone.

As ever, McNamee produced the table as soon as the last fixture was completed and sent to me. I have it stored but can tell people their scores on an individual basis if needed. If not, the new table which will include this weekends results, will be shown next week.

Results for week 9. Firstly,I had a bloody 'mare and was the lowest scorer! Sir Laz had the best score with 20 and had 2 correct scores! Well done Laz.
He is just behind Braith in the chase to catch NYM.

The pack of 5 are getting nearer NYM.

Sir Laz closes the gap by 7 points with a credible score of 16. Mcnamee goes from lowest scorer last week to highest this week with 18. It makes for a tense few weeks. Here's the table. Cheers Mc.

from Mac.
-----------------

Another close and intriguing set of scores. Top three scores of 19, 18, and 17 by The Corner (2 correct scores), Mcnamee ( 3 extra points thanks to a late Harry Kane goal) and Swimby (consistent scores as usual).
Good effort by all taking part. Cheers Mc

Just when it looked like the pack was closing in on NYM, a stunning 27 pulls him away again. The highest score of the season so far and 7 more than Swimby and Mcnamee who followed on 20. Still all to play for.

NYM the leader scored 24 along with Sir Laz and The Owl. Mcnamee 26, and Braith 28 but Swimby takes the plaudits this week with a credible 32 considering some of results this weekend. Cheers Mc

Results for this weekends games. Well some weird and unpredictable results which reflects a lot of the low scores. However, The Owl managed 14 points while Braith scored 16. The plaudits though, go to TNMW who scored an excellent 19 points and 3 correct scores. Mcnamee wasted 4 points by leaving a blank against Spurs when he intended putting a one. Doh!

Cheers Mc

Waited long enough and for added surprise with the table.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

The scores for week 19. An inspired forecast in the Prem this week by TNMW means he pips everyone to highest for the week with a credible 64. Not a lot to choose in the FA cup, but the Prem fixtures proved a stumbling block for most (especially for Mcnamee with a meagre return of 5 points!). Well played to everyone who entered, Cheers Mac.

Got this from Mac last week..

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not a lot between top and bottom with the scores. 3 with 16 points. NY Mag, Sir Laz and The Owl. Some unexpected scores over the last week or so, plenty of 3-3 draws hence the low scores. The table is as follows: Cheers Mac

Well, the double score round has been a big surprise. Last week after the FA cup we had 3 on exactly the same score at the top of the table. Sir Laz was not in the top 3 either but after this week the top score goes to Sir Laz with a magnificent score of 52, 14 points more than Mcnamee with 38 points and Sir Laz takes pole position. Well done to all taking part. Cheers Mac

About time the table was published and all McNamee's work in marking appreciated in all it's glory.

Two scores of 24 are the best in a relatively hard predictor this week. Table and scores follow. Cheers, Mac

A few extra games in this week's forecast and it turns out that Sir Laz has stretched his lead with an excellent score of 32, followed by Braith with 29 and NYM and Mcnamee both scoring 28. Mac was drug tested after predicting 1-1 in the Toon v Man City game! Here are the scores and places. Cheers Mac.

Another very tight round with the FA cup games being the only '5 point' forecasts. Mcnamee managed to get both semi final scores correct and gets top spot for the first time in months but by only one point from Swimby and NYM. Results below. Cheers Mac.

Thanks to McNamee for all his help in compiling the table and thanks to each and every person that has contributed to the scorecast this season.

It will return again in August but we may do something for the Euro's.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it for another season and the deserved winner is Sir Laz who has fought off all challengers. Swimby made a valiant effort and finished 2nd. I'll pass the trophy over to Sir Laz for the coming year. Well done, congratulations.
Cheers Mac.

With the format not yet decided on, we may yet decide to keep the premier league in.

If people dont mind a few extra fixtures a week and Mac doesn't mind the extra marking (if he stills wants to do it of course) then there's a good chance.
