Random quote: Keggy Keegal on Pardew saying we 'rebooted' - yeah we rebooted then Carver pressed Ctrl, Alt, Delete brought the task manager up and we could see Colo was using too much ram , so we ended the process and erm we're unlucky not to get something

My chosen signal of improvement...

Okay, I'm sure he's a canny player and he may do a good job or not. But he's become my symbol of FB's intentions. Shearer has challenged the boy to break his records at Newcastle. He scores goals and has time to do it. Maybe. 'Newcastle have shown interest', 'enquired' - Whatever.

If FB wins the bidding war (that means taking part and actually winning the player - nothing else will do.) then supports it with quite a few other supporting signings regardless of cost, then I'll start to entertain the thought that he might have reached his Damascus moment and wants to try for success.

Again, not holding my breath but I'm looking for a sign I can
understand.

This is NOT an invitation to lecture me on the merits of Charlie Austin. THEY rate him. Pay for him. End of.
