Know its not football, but with things quiet......

Had the chance to tick off another of those bucket list items.

Put on a awesome show, thought Brian Johnson had lost his voice to an extent, suppose this is borne out, however for an owld Geordie, he and the band put on some show.

The guitar work of Angus Young was as good as ever, and they brought the close to a crescendo with a great firework display, whilst playing, for those about to rock.

Now want to do it again, would probably travel worldwide to do it.

Saw them a few years ago and absolutely agree, they are immense live.

The weekend before last I went to see Leftfield live, pioneers of the dance scene pretty much. First album out in 16 years (which is superb if that's your bag), I'd forgotten how loud their gigs were!

Is there only 1 original left though if you go back to the original forming of the group?

3 of them left bob, Brian Johnson, Angus Young, Cliff Williams, new base player is son of Malcolm Young, Steve Young, together with an ex drummer Chris Slade.

The sound is still ACDC, and anybody seeing them is in for a treat!!!

Aye he choked on his own vomit while sitting in his car outside a house party that was going on.. if memory serves me..

They chose their replacement well. Unlike other bands.. like Queen for example.

And speaking of Queen, did anyone see that talentless waste of space on stage at Glastonbury over the weekend?

The mind boggles how these cunts make a living.

Know that Vin, it is that long since he passed away, there is not a great deal original about them, but what was on stage on Sunday was excellent. Thought Brian Johnson's voice was gone, however he give it his all, just like all of the band members.

A trip abroad to see them again is already being planned.

I was going get tickets off gumtree for the gig but I've just had a holiday and my daughter's wedding so found it hard to justify another £400 for a night in Glasgow. I'd love to see them in Madrid or Barcelona - I'll have to put my lottery numbers on.

The rate at which Daftlad is rattling through his bucket list concerns me somewhat. You're not off to Disneyland or swimming with dolphins soon are you Guy?

Saw them with Bon Scott at the University (I'm an old bugger) and again with Brian ( He used to be my Dad's office boy at Parsons, donchaknow) years later in Brum. Both times - Electric. There's no secret to their success - Blistering, mind grabbing riffs out of a Gibson SG and raucous vocals. They're a working man's Led Zep. Same principles and I love them both.

As long as the engine room can keep up. Angus and Brian will rock till they drop, bless'em
