Morning
08 June 2015 08:12 Post ID: #459618
Although ive been busy recently, the site fails to show the times spent lurking. It's as if we're waiting for something big to happen.

Regardless, once McClaren is announced and David Craig 'exclusively' announces it, we can get back to criticising something that we hate to love, love to hate or whatever NUFC means to us nowadays.

Morning all.

McClaren's first press conference is going to determine whether he's another patsie like Pardew and Carver or whether he's somehow managed to wrestle some power from those two cunts Charnley and Carr.

£50-60m (max) investment i anticipate will be spent this summer , will it be enough ? No
McClaren will come in and steady the ship but wont appease most fans , if he thought the England job was hard lets see how he deals with Our mob.
I expect buisness as usual cheap imports, injury prone and out of form players.
Long gone are the days when Nufc was a draw to top players , now we get the cast offs and unproven players that no one in the top 10 want

The very fact you are willing to believe his first press conference will reveal Ashley's true intentions says it all,and further reveals what is really wrong with NUFC,it's "fans".

I cant believe people would pay over £500 a year to watch such fucking dross, people must have money to burn.

What I find bb, are the people who claim the attendees are stupid, while posting messages on here that clearly harbour some kind of hope that Mike might actually be on our side.

Not my choice Maclaren but I would rather have him taking training and planning tactics than clueless carver. At least Maclaren has a reputation for quality coaching while Carver just has a reputation for having a big mouth.

Sadly i think Steve McClaren will do a decent enough job, always keeping the club out of the bottom 3 so fatty will never sell up.

"Don't offer him an orifice".Nailed it Piemag.
Offer the slime ball nothing.
He throws his odious crumbs of comfort,a champions league spot whilst he's at the helm & then
appoints a clown & folk still buy it.What will it take for some people to fkn wake up?

A belated good morning from birdys, although it is morning again, does that count?
In fact, I'm thinking there may be one every day but don't go broadcasting that until I've done more research.
Cracking weather in the East Midlands. You lot ok?

Clouded over in the IOM but think the bikes are going around OK. Nobody killed all day yesterday. A roaring success.

Interesting points about Ashley and hope Piemag. I think it's natural for people to look for crumbs of comfort. They listen to Fatty's interview and try and convince themselves that he's changed, they see a few signings and think (hope) that things might get better. A new manager, a new dawn etc.
It's called clutching at straws. The way to win the war is to teach them that there really is no hope. There is absolutely nothing to get excited about - ever. Don't be hoping it's useless, just accept abject desolation and disappointment and that's your lot. It's actually quite a difficult sell because people don't want to accept the reality.

Woke up this morning with a cherry red face, and 5 days of memories MM, what a great island you have.

As for NUFC, words fail me regularly, however, the current "optimism", will sharp disappear after the 6 monthly failure to get the targets "over the line", happens again.

Pleased you got home all right mate and enjoyed it! A good old burnt face is always a good souvenir. Not sure what happened in the Superstock? Guy Martin was third, Michael Dunlop leading the last I heard? Sun shining again anywayze.

I absolutely love the TT best thing on the TV just a shame it isn't live on TV, but i suppose with the risks involved i can see why it isn't. Looks a lovely place to live, i just wish Guy Martin would win one before he retires.

Aye BBC, I can vouch first hand that the TV does it no justice, being less that a foot away from a bike slowing from 160mph to 130mph, before flicking right at Hillberry is a moment that will live with me for the rest of my life.

All of us thought the first one had crashed, he was a foot away from the wall we were just behind, 5th along came Michael Dunlop, he was over the white line, snaking under braking, the white line was 6" away from the wall, and have it all on video!!!!

Should be on everybodies bucket list.
