Patrick Vieira is worth a punt for the experience and European contacts he will bring, please God NOT THE WALLY WITH THE BROLLY though, he turned us down twice and is only interested because he got booted from Derby, can't even get a club out of the Championship, why would we even want him?
Thanks to Ashley we won't attract a proven top flight manager so lets have someone with a bit of vision and we might just get back to our mid table mediocrity

Viera would be a good choice, even if he failed it would at least signify a bold appointment.
Maclaren would merely fit into the club plan and would not signify a serious challenge

Viera would be good. He's intelligent and is a winner, something we haven't had in a manager for decades. He will surely restrict clueless Carver to coaching the under 9s

I can't see Vieira taking the job under the current modus operandi whereas Mclaren would as he is on a downward spiral and is in many ways yesterdays man. NUFC is probably the biggest job he's likely to get at this stage of his career particularly as he as racked up four successive failures.

Macarena is presenting his vision of the club to Chumpley.
It reads I will kiss your arse and coach the layers that you and Carr decide on bringing in.
I will not cause Mike any grief and will toe the party line which has brought such success.
So the very people that admitted they had made mistakes and brought in many layers with no appetite and almost succeeded in relegation are going to point a yes man and continue to sign players with no input from a quality manager.
Sounds like a recipe for for continuing disaster to me.
They just don't get it do they.

It's looking more and more likely it will be Mclaren. Another yes man and another season of bullshit awaits us.

"decades" ??

Sir Bobby only left in 2004, since then we had Souness, Keegan (briefly) and Shearer. The latter 3 were surely winners in their careers. Sir Bobby was clearly both intelligent and a winner.

Not sure about Viera myself, why should we be an experiment to see if he is any good? We will only be a stepping stone for him anyway. Don't fancy Mc Claren either, although he did well at the boro at times. On balance lets just stick with Carver and get relegated, its comedy gold.

Aye banjo, how could you forget about Sir Bobby ?

That's the bloke who had John Carver as first-team coach, goes to show what he knew about football.
