just off jogging?

Nah, had a hard session at the boxing the other night. Swelled up the next morning. Doesn't hurt, just swollen. Hoping it settles down, feels weird.

Swelling went down after a few days, went and got a snazzily expensive knee support the other day. Gonna try it out tonight.

Shouldn't this just be Aberdeenmag's thread now? We can pop in and gee him up or admonish him for not training.
I went running for an hour today around an icy Hampstead Heath, lots of little inclines and around a 150+ yard hill to finish off at the end. I puked a little bit at the top.

That's a bit harsh, Lord Rabit. If I can put in another week or two like the past week without my knee exploding I'll be ready for a ten miler I reckon.

When do we hear about this? I think I might have fooked up here. On the original mailing list, but I'm thinking now that was just the mailing list to receive mails from the err.... mailing list.

I'm not sure if I'm in the ballot.

Is anyone else as clueless about this as me?

Did you do the registration where you had to give them your card details?
Your registration ID is the last six or seven digits of the unique reference number in your confirmation email, e.g. if your reference is GNR09S173R000637354, enter 637354. If your reference is GNR09S173R001000014, enter 1000014

I've received the initial email saying thank you for registering for reminder service.

Next was one for Daily Mirror ballot of 3,000.

Next on 4/2 was to say Don't miss your last chance to enter ballot, and deadline was 6/2. I didn't read it until 7th.

Where was the email in the middle to say, "Hey dick head, register for GNR is open now. You have x no. of days.

Fecking useless feckers.

That's me out then!

Having done some investigation.

It's £300 worth of donations to run for a charity.

The other option is buying them off ebay, apparently a lot of people get cold feet and sell the entrys on.

Is that for any charity? I reckon I could possibly just about manage that if it was for my mother's charity (as a lot of her family would give toward that), with the rest going to Steve's. I would've rather split it depending on what the donor wanted though, and I don't like the idea I might get £300 for one charity and £20 for Steve's.

Might be ebay then!

I'm still on tickover mode of three milers due to this knee. Gonna do a 5 mile run this weekend to see if it explodes.

Didn't pop, rabit. Felt better after the run and next day. Done nothing this week due to having my folks over. Back into it tomorrow.

Knee feels better this week because I've been running on grass. Must be something wrong with the fucker though.
