'If It's Football, It's Vital'

ACN update

Unlikely for us Nigeria pulled off something of a minor miracle yesterday as Oba and co sneaked into the quarters at the expense of Mali. Needing Ivory Coast to win and themselves to beat Benin, Jon Obi Mikel and Yakuba notched to send the Super Eagles through as Drogba`s mob thrashed Mali 3-0. They now meet Michael Essien`s Black Stars of Ghana.

Tonight sees Geremi play his last group game against Sudan whilst Thursday sees Faye and Beye round off their first round involvement.
