'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Keegan on Barnes

Seemingly resigned to seeing the transfer window shut with no new signings coming to NUFC KK has spoken about the alleged bid for Giles Barnes that was rejected. With Derby rumoured to have snubbed an offer in the region of £2m, Kev said:

"I don`t think it`ll happen. If we`d got two players in, which was the original intention, someone like him would have been perfect to slide in as one for the future. I don`t think we`ll do it in this transfer window, but we might do three or four of those type of signings in the summer. That`s what this new set-up is all about."

Full allocation sold out again - deserving of more than we have to put up with.
