'If It's Football, It's Vital'

ACN outlook positive

Having seen their teams struggle to results in their opening games it could be a case of "see you soon" as our African Nations players look to avoid heading home early and, in some cases, the wrath of the fans in their home country. Having been accosted before Oba will no doubt be having serious twitchy bum time.

The lie of the land is:

Oba - Needs Nigeria to beat Benin and hope Mali lose to Ivory Coast. The Ivorians incidentally have already qualified.

Habib Beye and Abdoullate Faye - Need to beat South Africa and hope that Angola and Tunisia don`t draw.

Geremi - Needs to see his Cameroon team beat Sudan. Let`s be fair to the lad - he can stay in Africa until Christmas, he`s been pony for us.
