'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Coppell on former teammate

Having played with Special K for England in the 80s, Steve Coppell obviously knows what Kev is all about. A surprisingly positive Coppell took a break from being Victor Meldrew`s younger brother and said:

'It's good to see him back. I like Kevin. He's also English and it's good to see an Englishman in a big job. He's not been taken there for his admitted tactical limitations. He's there because he'll inspire them to get to where they want.'

Kevin Keegan is king of the cliche's. he knows how to manipulate your fans, the press, and the chairman. elivering results and siccess won't be that easy. I really wish you lot all the best. I hope you don't get your hopes up too much. Just look at KK's transfer record at Man City and pray he doesn't do the same to you. Also watch the way he walked out on England (and you ot in 1997). Best of luck. Look to the future, not the past.
