Butty bans

Having racked up an impressive haul of yellows already this season, we`ll be massively hit by the loss of Nicky Butt for two games in January. The Stoke replay and the Bolton home game will see the Ginger Warrior suspended. Big Sam said:

'We've lost him for two games, but not for Manchester United. He's one player we don't want to get suspended at this stage of the season, because we're short of numbers at the moment. From Nicky Butt's point of view, in terms of the amount of games he's played this year, you have to accept he's going to pick up bookings because of his type of game. I thought his booking was unfortunate. I felt there was a lot worse that went unpunished in this game, but unfortunately we have to accept that.'

Big loss. Along with Milner he's been our Mr Consistency this year.
