Sam on Stoke draw

Sam on Stoke draw

Having seen his side eke out a 0-0 stalemate against Stoke, Big Sam immediately praised his defence and set his stall out for getting a result in the imminent replay:

'I thought we controlled the game, the first half particularly. I`m a little disappointed over 90 minutes but it's a very, very good draw. We will see who we get (in the draw tomorrow) and hopefully try to finish the job off.

They were tremendous. We spoke about the size and strength of the Stoke team, I thought we dealt with it well. We are short of numbers at the moment with African Nations (Cup) players going away and a few injuries."
