Broon bid rejected

A quick response from Sir Taggart of Manchester as the Mancs have turned down our offer for Wesley Brown. In what I personally see as a blessing in disguise we`ve avoided signing our 6th defender in 5 months.

davidmillzy
You're *****ting me? He's up for nowt in the summer.
SirLes
With geremi and beye going to africa i would not oppose to wes brown arriving on tyneside. Would be shambolic to leave that right back position to CARR...especially coming back from injury
Toon4LiFe
Yeh SirLes, Fergusson rates him at 5million, I know he's good and i feel we could get him for 2.75 - 3 million he would bring experience to our back four also i'd test the water for Woodgate

great to see 75% of fans on here saying big sam should stay, being a villa fan myself i know only to well things can get a bit worrying when things don't go has planned, we thought MON wasn't doing such a good job, but given time he's shaping a good young squad for the future, and given more time i'm sure sam will do the same for u, you don't become a bad manager over night, someone needs to have a word with your chairman, he's acting like a c4ck, sat in the stands, surrounded by all those great managers in the crowd, give the man some time he'll come good, jesus you haven't won anything for 50 years a couple more won't hurt, just because you fill the ground dosen't give you the right to win things, yates's fills its bars every night but will never win restaurant of the year!
eltoro
eltoro - spot on. O'Neill got 12 months at the very least and he's put together a very exciting side to watch.
