Wor Bob lays down the law

Wor Bob lays down the law

With his reign looking better by the day in hindsight, Sir Bobby has come out and urged Big Sam to have faith and trust in his flair players as the season reaches its crunch period. Following finishes of 4th, 3rd and 5th I`d urge BSA to take some consideration of what the bloke said as he knows the Newcastle mentality better than most. The most poignant passage of his Mail of Sunday column said:

'What the fans wish for is not just the right result but Newcastle playing the right type of football with plenty of wit, the ball being passed along the deck and plenty of creativity in midfield. If Sam can trust his flair players fans will forgive him if they don't win every week.'
