'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Korean still on the menu?

With our move for Shimizu S-Pulse striker Cho Jae-jin seeming dead in the water over the weekend, it appears the lad still has ambitions of signing for us. His agent, Kim Min-jae, last night told the Sunday Sun that he remained hopeful of getting his player a squad number with the club:

'At the moment, we are still totally focused on Newcastle. We haven't been given any information from Newcastle officials that the deal is definitely off. We will maybe re-negotiate about terms and conditions. We may come back to Newcastle this week.'

Whether the doubt over the manager`s position has put this one in jeopardy remains an interesting one. The Sunday Sun also claims we have a standing interest in Valencia anchorman David Albelda.
