More Owen rubbish

The lingering rumours that Fabio Capello is set to knock Michael Owen down the striking pecking order has led to renewed speculation that EMO will move to a top four move to keep himself in the new England boss`s thoughts.

However frustration appears to be building with them over Owen's failure to recover from his latest meaning we`ve received little interest so far and it seems unlikely he will be leaving Tyneside until the summer at the earliest. Obviously this has pissed on a few hacks` chips. Just to counter this even more Sam has backed up his need for Owen`s return saying:

'If I have one complaint over our recent games it is the fact we have stopped scoring goals from open play, and that's why we want Michael back with us as soon as we can.'
