Rated and slated

Harper - 8 - Some good stops and brave blocks. Seems to have decent games at this ground.

Taylor - 7 - Better from the lad. Tried to get forward and took a few in the face.

Faye - 6 - Managed a hell of a lot better than most against Jones before he went off.

Rozenhal - 5 - Culpable for fannying about and ball watching in equal measure.

N`Zogbia - 6 - Reasonable crossing but ultimately wasted at left back.

Barton - 4 - Not match fit, not right upstairs. Got away with the Etuhu bullock hack for now.

Smith - 4 - Was he even playing?

Emre - 6 - Got stuck in early on and got a warning for hacking down one of their players which seemed to stop him in his tracks.

Milner - 6 - Tried all game and got the goal. Should have been on the right though.

Owen - 5 - No service but no invention either.

Viduka - 6 - Clearly not match fit but battled quite well.
