Know Your Enemy - Manager and Nets

Manager: Roy Keane

The Dogwalker needs no introduction to our fans, having been a perennial nemesis during his time at Old Trafford. Keane first popped up under Cloughie back in the early 90s, giving it the big 'un in an FA Cup tie that Forest went on to win. IIRC, Clough subbed him for acting the knob. Under Fergie he was given a free reign to do what he wanted and, without a doubt, was a star act. His performance in Turin in 1999 remains one of the finest performances I have seen from a midfielder, even when ruled out for the final.

However Keane won`t be influencing things directly on the field, which is a relief. Despite what went on last season, this year has hardly been a success for the fledgling manager, with the mackems coming into this on the back of a 6 game winless run. He`ll have them well up for this one (to be sure, to be sure).

Keeper: Craig Gordon

Inconsistent. Had some blinders (Liverpool/Man Utd) and stinkers (Fulham/West Ham), much like any other. The difference is he cost £9m so you expect a modicum of consistency. Will be a key player if Owen gets his shooting boots on. Has done well for Scotland against the big sides so I`ve a horrible feeling he`ll raise his game for this one.
