Smithy on subbing it

With Mike Ashley sporting his name on the back of his shirt you`d pretty much think the lad was guaranteed a start when fit/not suspended, however Big Sam kept Alan 'Smudger` Smith chomping at the bit on the bench. Smith though was happy to accept the manager`s policy:

'I had to accept it. I missed out in the last game through suspension, and the gaffer told me that the reason I wasn't playing at Reading because the team did so well. I then had to just try to make an impact when I came on as sub, which I did. We got the equaliser and I thought we looked the most likely to get the winner. It could have been all three points.'

SMITH IS A STRIKER AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN UP FRONT ALONG OWEN AND OBAFEMI SHOULD HAVE CAME ON AS AN IMPACT SUB. IF SMITH IS NOT UP FRONT HE SHOULD BE BENCHED. AND THE SAME WITH GEREMI, IF HE'S NOT IN THE CENTRE OF THE PARK HES SHOULD BE BENCHED! USELESS WIDE RIGHT.

How's smithy settling down at St James's. He's not been used as a centre forward since his early Leeds days!
