Sam happy with strikers

Sam happy with strikers

Following a decent display of link up play on Monday night, Big Sam has been quick to come out and praise his two up top, as both Oba Martins and Michael Owen ran their socks off with differing rewards. Speaking to the press he said:

'It was a good contribution from Oba. And Michael probably had one chance when Geremi put him through and the goalie made a great save. Michael won't be disappointed, because we won again and we scored three goals. Every player who is playing on the field is happy when you've won. If you're a goalscorer and you haven't got one, but your team's still won, it's better than you scoring and the team not winning. We're delighted with the contribution of all the players.'
