New faces

Good news for the club shop today as Habib Beye and Abdoulaye Faye looked close to completing moves to Gallowgate. Both seem to have undertaken medicals yesterday and are set to ink deals this morning as we end up with a seriously stocked defence for the season ahead. Faye`s move comes as no surprise, having spent the last two weeks wrangling with Bolton over his transfer.

Beye`s however is a shock, not for the link which has been there all summer, but for the fact the deal looked dead and we were set to get Glenn Johnson in from Chelsea. Obviously pricing issues seem to have reared up, with Chelski maybe expecting too much brass.

Quality set of signings this summer - Geremi and Barton as well into that.

Over the moon with the signings and there's a few to come back from injury.
