Faye deal in the balance

Once again in a Newcastle transfer the deal seems to be dragging on as we struggle to complete the signing of Abdoulaye Faye. AŁ2m fee for the defender has been sorted out with Bolton and he`s done his medical. What`s holding it up however, just as in the Barton deal, is the payment details. Sammy Lee has now warned the parties involved that the 29-year-old will be involved against Reading this weekend unless the situation is resolved:

"I`ve spoken to Abdoulaye - he`s worked hard this week on the training ground and he`s eager to be involved at the weekend. I left him out (against Fulham and Portsmouth) because I felt the speculation was getting to him and it was difficult for the boy. But he has responded well."

Get it sorted please! It's heedbusting stuff watching it drag on.
