Carroll loaned out

A quick loan and a quick debut were quickly followed by a quick yellow card, as Andy Carroll was loaned to Preston and came on as an 87th minute sub for the Whites last night in their shock 2-1 defeat against Morecombe in the Carling Cup. Agree Millzy - we'll soon see his mettle. Hopefully he'll come back a bit more clued up on running the offside trap.
