'If It's Football, It's Vital'

EMO back in time for Deutschland

Another England match and yet another miraculous recovery from the nation`s number one replica kit model as Michael Owen seems to have timed it just right to play for Steve McClaren`s side against the Krauts. Needless to say he`ll play the token 20 minutes for us against Villa on Saturday but, decapitation or amputation apart on Saturday, he should be sporting the number 10 at Wembley for the full 90 next Wednesday.

Owen proved he was over the thigh strain he suffered in the Hartlepool friendly by taking part in a 60 minute run out against Newcastle Blue Star at Kingston Park last night. Shola bagged a couple of goals, Cacapa eased himself into English football and even Dyer managed to run around aimlessly, avoiding injury by Blue Star players who seemed eager to put the boot in.

Owen said:

'I feel fine and it was nice to get some football under my belt. It was only a small injury, a little niggle, but I've been back training for the last four or five days and it was good to get out. It was frustrating to miss some of the pre-season games but I've still been training and I don't feel I've missed much fitness and strength work and I've still been in the gym, as always. I'm feeling fit and to play tonight was great.'

Anyone else heard the Owen to ManYoo rumours this morning?
SirLes
Yeh see how he plays this weekend, I cant ses him play for 90mins maybe 45mins and as for Man Utd romours we have passed his deadline date for his release clause last tuesday so they would need to stump up some serious cash which i cant see happening.
