'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Big Sam delighted at win (AUDIO)

Newcastle United started the new Premier League season in emphatic fashion following an impressive performance against Bolton Wanderers. Charles N'Zogbia's free kick and a couple of goals from Obafemi Martins, including a wonderful overhead kick, blew away Bolton at the Reebok Stadium in a lightning first 30 minutes.

Boss Sam Allardyce says he's disappointed at jibes aimed at him by Bolton chairman Phil Gartside, who claimed fans had grown tired of his tactics. And Big Sam also believes the fans did not turn on him during the game, but were just upset at their sides' performance, but is delighted with the way his side performed.
