Sam confirms: brass available

With 19 days to go until the transfer window slams shut, it seems reasonable to say that Big Sam will be getting another couple of bodies in. With two touted in his Times Online interview (unnamed) the gaffer confirmed that the money is there if he wants it. He`s also touting Dyer`s departure so he can get some more cash in:

"If Dyer didn't go and we found someone suitable to buy, we would get him. That's been proven in the last week by us spending the best part of £11 million on Smith and Enrique without Kieron going. That was very encouraging for all of us. I thought we would have got one player in - maybe two - this week. One of those players is now a no-go, the other one is still ongoing. I'm looking abroad now because there's nothing left in this country.'
