Sam Warns: Play At 100% Or Lose

Big Sam says he has fully briefed the team with his infinite knowledge of Bolton Wanderers ahead of this weekends Premiership kick off.

Talking to the official sites Newcastle World TV, he said:

'They're my players so I know all about them of course. I think they've decided upon a change of style in the system that they play but their approach will be the same as it was under me. And, if they are all guns blazing then it's difficult to cope with. That is why they've done so well in the league over the past few years. We have to compete with that element of Bolton's strengths which is what I know about and is what I'll be telling the lads about.'

Adding, 'We'll be aiming to nullify those strengths and expose the weaknesses which I am also aware of and hopefully that will be the case on Saturday.'

Big Sam v Little Sam? My money is on Allardyce. Win for the Magpies.

He also warned the players in a report by Miles Starforth in the Shields Gazette, 'If we don't play 100 per cent, then we'll lose tomorrow.'

And on our terrible record there, something he can take the blame for! 'We've already lost there five times on the trot. We're the underdogs - that's a fact because you've got to look at the record. We can't get carried away when we get down to the Reebok. In the past we've had a miserable record there and got battered on several occasions. We have to make sure we turn it round.'

We should be far tougher this year with Sam in charge, this is a totally new set up and woe betide anyone who takes us lightly either.

great win for you, however my only reservation would be that you are starting o adopt bolton style tactics...sure they win you points, but they wont get you many friends in the league, and it will be quite dry for you to watch. oh well, good luck ;)

Merlin..although owen, barton, taylor ,given and smith are good candidates, geremi speaks three languages, controls the centre of midfield and is a leader on and off the pitch. Plus his main reason to coming to newcastle was the support of the toon army... Great choice in my opinion. Nothing strange about it.

Just come on to say well done. Reckon you will good for the 5th maybe 4th spot if you carry on like that. Also just seen some posts on our site from nufc2006nufc. He obviously has a major problem with 'Jews' and his anti semetic rants are vile and not welcome. Sledging is sledging but he/she is well out of order. I am sure you will sort him/her out. well done again.
