Another name came into the frame for those vacant defensive slots that BSA keeps referring to. This time it was highly rated Palermo and Italy stopper Andrea Barzagli, with an outstanding £11m fee being slapped on his nappa.
With Fiorentina and Juve also interested in the lad, and our fans bricking it about signing another 'Super Sandro` Pistone, I can`t really see this one being a realistic runner and rider. His club chairman hinted that the player might leave however, being less than complimentary about the lad having his head turned now he was an international.
